Ledge stone is typically used to create interior design features such as hearths and fireplaces.  As it is an impermeable rock it is also becoming more popular in designs or projects, to create a more component-based effect than our more common varieties of stone. You can leave the edges raw and uneven for a more rustic feel for your desired space or have the layers perfectly aligned to create a smooth, modern feel.
